SOME FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT YOUR NEW LOOK SCOTTISH WIDOWS PLATFORM

Just visit scottishwidows-platform.com and log in to the new look site using your existing username and password.

Please be aware that as we’re applying these improvements to firms in phases, the existing functionality on our current web address will continue to remain live until all our customers have moved across to the enhanced screens.

If you have forgotten your password, please use the ‘forgotten password’ link on the login page. This will send you a link allowing you to reset your password.

There are many things you can do once you login to your dashboard. See your client dashboard guide for a useful overview of this.

New accounts or transfers to your existing products can be easily set up by your adviser. You should contact them in the first instance. If you don’t have an adviser please contact us.

If you have been set up with servicing permissions you can pay money in by your preferred method. Select the product you wish to make a payment for, then select the ‘I want to’ drop down menu on the right-hand side of the screen and select ‘Pay money in’.

If you have been set up with servicing permissions you can withdraw money yourself within the rules of the product.  Select the product you wish to make a withdrawal from and select ‘Withdrawal’ from the ’I want to’ drop down on the right-hand side of the screen.

If you have been set up with self-serve permissions you can place a trade easily. Select the product you wish to make a trade for and then select ‘Trading’ from the menu navigation on the left-hand side of the screen. You can then select the type of trade you wish to place.

You can add or remove your bank account details using the ’I want to’ dropdown on the right-hand side of the screen and select ‘view my bank details’.

If you are removing bank details please note that if there are active Direct Debits and/or regular withdrawals associated with this bank account, you must cancel these first.  You can do this on the ‘Transactions’ tab on the product dashboard.

You can check your bank details using the ’I want to’ dropdown on the right-hand side of the screen. Just select ‘view my bank details’.

If your adviser has given you access, you can do this by selecting ‘Client details’ from the side menu and then the ‘Pension details’ option.

You can view your product specific information within your dashboard by either selecting the product from the ‘Dashboard Overview’ screen or by using the product selection dropdown menu.

Once you’ve completed a trade you can view its status. Select the correct product to view the trade and a “Transaction ” tab will be displayed .  In the “pending investment” section you’ll find the status of your trade.

You can check and update your personal details by selecting the ’I want to’ dropdown menu. Select ‘view my details’ from the dropdown menu on the right-hand side. If you have self-service permissions you can select ‘Edit Details’ to make changes.  If the information you’d like to update isn’t available, please contact your adviser. If you don’t have an adviser, contact our helpdesk.

You don’t need to do anything. We’ve moved them across to the new look platform for you.

No. The first time you login though you will be asked to set a memorable PIN.

No. Using the new look platform will not impact your existing instructions.

We have worked with FE Fundinfo to provide you with a digital Fund Research Centre.  This offers you and your adviser the ability to search and evaluate investments available on the Embark Platform.  The Fund Research Centre provides helpful tools allowing you to:

  • build a portfolio of investments for analysis;
  • receive insight on the underlying assets;
  • generate reports, and
  • download information including factsheet and KID/KIID documentation
  • X-ray your investments at portfolio and product level.

We are working with Financial Express to provide additional features and will provide updates when they are delivered.
