ACD (Authorised Corporate Director) 

The authorised corporate director of a company. ACDs (Authorised Corporate Directors) are responsible for the day to day management and governance of an investment fund. They have a duty to act in the best interests of the fund's investors, and to ensure that the fund is well managed in line with the investment objectives and policies set out in its prospectus, and the regulations that apply to it.
